Care and cleaning of your curtains
All curtains from web-curtains.com should be dry-cleaned only. Due to the nature of some fabrics, a small amount of shrinkage (approximately 3%) is to be expected upon the first dry clean. To keep dry cleaning to a minimum, we recommend you regularly vacuum your curtains using the correct soft furnishing attachment on your vacuum cleaner. Finally always ensure you clean matching accessories, for example cushions or tie backs, at the same time as your curtains. This will help avoid colour variation over a period of time.

Before you get started, here are just a few points you should bear in mind.
Curtains should not hang too close to the window pane to avoid contact with condensation. They should also be kept away from radiators as the fabric can be affected by excessive heat and dryness.
Our curtains are carefully packaged to keep creases to a minimum. However, upon delivery there may be some slight creasing, which will fall out quickly once the curtains are hanging in a warm room.
If you want to help things along, you could use a warm, dry iron on the reverse only. Do not use steam or any other kind of moisture as this could stretch or shrink the fabric. If ironing, make sure you avoid hems and the sides of the curtains.
