Do you offer a measuring and fitting service?
web-curtains.com is a purely online service. You measure and hang your curtains yourself.

Can you deliver curtains outside of the UK?
We are only able to deliver curtains within the UK.

I have some fabric that I would like to be made into a curtain. If I supply it, could you do this for me?
We don't offer this service.

Do you sell blackout curtains?
A blackout lining is available as an alternative to our standard sateen twill lining on made-to-measure curtains. Our ready-made curtains range includes blackout options - these fabrics have a performance coating on the reverse instead of lining.
Please be aware that small holes from stitching the fabrics and also the hems on our made-to-measure curtains mean that our blackout curtains do not cut out 100% of the light.

Are your curtains washable?
All curtains, cushions, tie backs and fabric by the metre from web-curtains.com should be dry-cleaned only. Due to the nature of some fabrics, a small amount of shrinkage (approximately 3%) is to be expected upon the first dry clean. To keep dry cleaning to a minimum, we recommend you regularly vacuum your curtains using the correct soft furnishing attachment on your vacuum cleaner. Finally always ensure you clean matching accessories, for example cushions or tie backs, at the same time as your curtains. This will help avoid colour variation over a period of time.

I'm ordering more than one pair of curtains for my room. Will the patterns match?
If you place an order for more than one pair of curtains in the same fabric at the same time we will assume they need pattern matching. This means we will match the pattern on all the curtains from the top so they co-ordinate regardless of the drop.

How do I save a quote?
1. Select the fabric you are interested in
2. Enter your measurements (width and drop and press go)
3. Click on the 'save this quote' link
4. This link will direct you to the my quotes page where you can review previous quotes
5. Remember your quote will last for 2 weeks - therefore you can still buy your chosen product at the price you saved it no matter what the offer is that day!

Can I review my purchase once I have added the items to my basket?
Yes, once you have added curtains, cushions, tie backs or fabric to your basket you can review the information you gave us regarding this order simply by clicking on the underlined link in the column marked 'Item' in your basket. Here you can edit these details. Please remember to click 'go' to change the details.

How do I save changes I make in the basket area?
If you make any changes to your order in the basket area, please remember to press the 'recalculate' button below delivery. Or next to the promotional code box if you add a promotional code.

How do I order a sample?
A step-by-step guide to ordering samples can be found here, simply choose the fabric/fabrics you like the most and click the free sample button.

The page I am trying to access is producing an error, what do I do?
Every site can suffer from technical problems. If you see an error please email us at enquiries@web-curtains.com and provide a clear and concise description of your experience, including the name and version of the browser you are using.

How do I change my billing address?
1. Go to the my web-curtains section of the site
2. Login and select 'my details'
3. Next to the field addresses, select your current billing address using the drop down menu (this will be the first address you see)
4. Click the 'view address' button
5. Edit this address
6. Click 'update address' when you have edited you details

How do I add a new address?
1. Go to the my web-curtains section of the site
2. Login and select my details
3. Click the 'add a new address' button (under the address you see at the bottom of the form)
4. Enter the postcode
5. Click f'ind address'
6. Select your house number and street
7. Click the 'add new address' button

What is my username?
Your username is always your email address. Therefore if you change your email address in my web-curtains.com your username will change.

What is your refund and returns policy?
We cannot offer a return or refund on made-to-measure or custom-made products as they are manufactured to your exact requirements and consequently cannot be resold by us. Therefore it is important to make sure that you enter your exact requirements into the website and that you check your order confirmation email.
All our made-to-measure and ready-made curtains plus cushions and tie backs are guaranteed for workmanship for 12 months. If your order arrives damaged or becomes faulty at any time within the first 12 months than please contact our friendly customer service team on 0845 604 9613 or email enquiries@web-curtains.com, who will be happy to help. Can I change my order once I've submitted it?
We'll be happy to make any changes to your made-to-measure order, provided we've not started making your curtains. Unfortunately we cannot change your order once manufacturing has begun. For ready-made curtains, we can make changes to your order up until the time it has been shipped from our warehouse. Once this has happened, you will need to return the item - see below. My curtains look a different colour to the sample on screen. Why?
We endeavour to make sure the colours of the fabrics shown on our website are the same as the fabric you will receive. However in some instances there may be slight colour variation due to different computer screens.
We always recommend that you order a FREE sample. We cannot accept any responsibility for any colour variation if you place an order without a sample.

Can I track my order online?
No, unfortunately we do not have the facility to track your order online. When you place your order you choose a delivery date to suit you, we aim to meet this delivery date, however sometimes deliveries may be delayed due to situations out of our control.

What if I'm out when my delivery is made?
You are given the option to pick your most suitable delivery date when placing your order and should make arrangements for someone to be at this address to collect the delivery.
In the unlikely event that no-one is at home our couriers will leave a card for you and attempt to redeliver a further two times. There is also an option for delivery instructions to be added to the order.

Do fitting instructions come with your curtains?
Yes, we include fitting instructions with all of our curtains. You can also download these from our 'how to hang your curtains' page.
